A crime reporter’s favorite pastime
This is what crime reporters do when there’s no crime to be reported: We play silly Internet games, as shown here. It’s a fun little puzzle game called “Open Doors,” featured on Flasharcade’s Web site. Wanna give it a go? Click “continue reading” below. (You don’t think I’m going to give it all away on the home page, do you? Get to clicking, folks!)
RULES OF THE GAME: Use your keyboard’s arrow keys to move the box to the “X.” Be warned, though — the doors only open a certain way. (If you know how blueprints work, then you’ll get it immediately. If not, you’ll figure it out soon.) Don’t be fooled by the first few easy puzzles! It gets harder … and believe me, you can waste a lot of time on this one.
What does this have to do with crime reporting, you ask? Well, it requires problem-solving skills, perseverance, and … uh … stop asking so many questions, okay?!

Crime reporters aren’t the only ones who work on problem solving skils … so do aerospace writers.
I have now wasted so much time on this. It’s ridiculous. I’m trying to be a brilliant grad student here!
