Help me name the newest addition to my family before he comes home

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I finally took the leap today — I adopted a dog from Decatur Animal Services. The shelter named him Twix, but I don’t think that fits him very well. So, I need your help picking a name before I bring him home Tuesday, Jan. 25.

A little about him: He’s about 7 months old and weighs 14 pounds, fully grown. His coat is gorgeous; black and tan, with a white belly and chest. His eyes are navy blue. The shelter claims he’s a “Chihuahua mix,” but I’m not buying that. Other dog lovers have suggested he has some Beagle, some Dachshund, and maybe some Jack Russell. My best friend Lacey said he looks like tiny Rottie!
He’s quite shy. He tends to back away when he meets another person or dog, but it only takes him a few seconds to cautiously move forward and check out his potential new friend. I won’t know much about his personality until I get him home, but he seemed incredibly calm in the chaos of the shelter and will probably be a laid-back dog.
So, I picked a few potential names — most of them geeky — and need your feedback. Vote on your favorite, or suggest another name! Also, bonus points if you get the jokes behind these names.
Disclaimer: Y’all know I’m going to pick the name I prefer most, but I’m hoping your votes will help me weed out the ones that really suck. So yeah, please don’t be offended if I don’t pick the No. 1 name.

I’ve always thought Pica was a cute name for a pet. I really like Apache, too, because that’s my sister’s dog’s name (named after the helicopters). I think Flash is super cute but doesn’t sound like his personality.
When I scrolled down and saw his picture for the first time the name Luke came to mind.
You know, Luke is actually pretty cute. I also kinda like Oscar and Logan. Too many options!
I keep leaning toward the geeky names, though. I can’t help it.
Our dog is a rottweiler mix and his face looks lots like this. I think Gizmo is adorable.
