I took my first foray into journalism when I was in 7th grade, joining the high school yearbook staff as an inexperienced photographer. My love for the hobby grew, and I started submitting my photos to a couple of local newspapers after I won a statewide high school photography contest. Although I’m primarily a reporter now, I still love to shoot my own photos when the opportunity arises. I’ve included a few slide shows below of some of my favorite photographs. I’ll be adding more as I continue to build this site.
